PCBC Jump Start Award Program

Purpose:

To provide the PCBC with a mechanism to quickly award small grants to junior faculty (less than 5 years from their appointment to Assistant Professor), research associates, fellows, postdocs, and graduate students to support a well-defined specific aim. The aim should involve at least one of the following, with priority given to proposals that incorporate two:

Funded PCBC Projects: Pilot and Ancillary/Collaborative Studies

The mission of the NHLBI Progenitor Cell Biology Consortium is to develop improved understanding of the biology of stem and progenitor cells, and to harness this knowledge for the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood diseases. The Consortium comprises nine multidisciplinary virtual research hubs supported by an Administrative Coordinating Center.

PCBC Training Materials - General Guidelines and Applications

 

Skills development training sessions are open to applications from any graduate student, post-doctoral fellow or faculty member working in a PCBC Hub Site laboratory.

Production Assistance for Cellular Therapies (PACT)

Production Assistance for Cellular Therapies (PACT) is an NHLBI program designed to develop novel cellular therapies that will aid investigators by providing production assistance in areas ranging from translational development to the scale-up of a product that is intended for use in human clinical trials.
